What We Pour

The Look of Stone. The Strength of Concrete. None of the Paver Headaches.

Stamped concrete is poured concrete that's stamped while wet to create patterns, textures, and color variations that mimic natural stone, slate, brick, cobblestone, or wood plank. The structural strength is identical to plain concrete (4,000+ PSI). The visual result rivals natural stone or pavers — with significantly lower long-term maintenance.

Concrete Designs LLC has installed stamped concrete across more than 300 projects in Miami-Dade and Broward County since 2004 — from compact stamped patios in Hialeah to multi-pattern stamped driveways in Coral Gables and Pinecrest, to full pool deck and patio combinations in Aventura, Weston, and Pembroke Pines. We carry 50+ stamp patterns, multiple sealer systems for different applications, and color matching services that work with your home's existing stone, stucco, and roof.

Properly installed and sealed, stamped concrete lasts 25–40 years — and unlike pavers, it doesn't shift, doesn't grow weeds at the joints, doesn't require sand replacement every 2–3 years, and doesn't develop those uneven spots that trip you up at night. Re-seal every 3–5 years and that's it for maintenance.

2. Brick & Cobblestone

Quote-Based

Herringbone brick, basket-weave brick, running bond, English cobblestone, and old-world cobblestone patterns. Classic look ideal for traditional South Florida homes and driveways.

3. Wood Plank

Quote-Based

Wood-look stamped concrete with grain detail, knot patterns, and color staining that mimics weathered teak, walnut, or driftwood. Modern and unique. Used on patios, walkways, and pool decks.

4. Italian Tile / Large Format

Quote-Based

Large-format tile patterns (12x24, 16x32, 24x24) and Italian travertine looks. Modern, clean aesthetic. Popular for contemporary patios and pool decks where homeowners want a "tile-look" without the grout maintenance.

5. Ashlar / European Fan

Quote-Based

Geometric stone patterns including Ashlar slate, European fan, and ashlar cut stone. Elegant, formal looks for entryways, walkways, and decorative borders around pools and patios.

6. Custom & Combo Designs

Stamped Concrete FAQ

Things People Ask Before Pouring Stamped Concrete

How much does stamped concrete cost in Miami?
Stamped concrete pricing is quote-based — every project is custom and depends on square footage, pattern complexity, color count (single, double, or triple color), demo, base prep, sealer system, site access, and permitting guidelines. We provide a free fixed-price written quote at the on-site consultation, no obligation.
Is stamped concrete cheaper than pavers?
Yes. Stamped concrete typically costs 30–50% less than pavers installed, with comparable visual results. Lower long-term maintenance: no shifting, no sand replacement, no weed growth between joints. Re-seal every 3–5 years is the only routine maintenance.
What patterns are available?
50+ patterns: flagstone, Ashlar slate, European fan, herringbone brick, basket-weave brick, cobblestone, Roman slate, wood plank, large-format Italian tile, and more. Sample boards brought to every consultation.
How long does stamped concrete last in Florida?
Properly installed stamped concrete lasts 25–40 years in South Florida. The base concrete is 4,000+ PSI. The decorative surface needs to be re-sealed every 3–5 years to maintain color and protection.
Can stamped concrete be installed over my existing patio?
Sometimes — through concrete overlay or resurfacing. We apply a thin polymer-modified overlay (1/4–1/2 inch) over your existing slab and stamp it. Works only if existing concrete is structurally sound. For severely damaged slabs, full replacement is usually better.
Will my stamped concrete fade in the Miami sun?
Some color fading is normal over years of UV exposure. We use UV-stable color systems and recommend re-sealing every 3–5 years to refresh color. Stamped concrete we installed 10+ years ago still looks great with proper maintenance.
How long does stamped concrete take to install?
Most stamped projects: 2–4 days for pour-stamp-seal-cure. Total project including demo, base prep, and forming: 7–14 days. Drive on after 5–7 days. Sealing applied on day 2–3.
Is stamped concrete slip-resistant for pool decks?
Yes — with slip-resistant additives in the sealer and textured patterns (slate, flagstone, Roman slate). Light colors recommended for pool decks to reduce heat absorption.
Can you match the stamped concrete to my home's color scheme?
Yes. Fully customizable: base color (integral), accent color (color hardener), antiquing (release powder), and sealer tint. We match your home's stone, stucco, roof, and trim. Color samples brought to your home.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. 0% APR up to 24 months for qualified customers. We can show you sample monthly payments based on your project's quoted total. See full financing →
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Concrete Designs LLC is fully licensed and insured in Florida, with general liability and workers' compensation coverage on every project.
Do you handle permits?
Yes — every project. City permits, HOA architectural reviews, color and pattern approvals, inspections — all in-house.
